Bootcamp - This is a training session designed to help our clients lose weight, burn fat, and get into great shape fast. They are a mixture of HIIT, Circuit Training, Boxing, Kettlebells, and other exercises. Session design varies from class to class.
Outdoor Bootcamp - Outdoor Bootcamp sessions are held on Hove Lawns. The sessions vary from week to week being a mixture of HIIT, circuit, running, Boxing and other Bootcamp style exercises.

So, let me tell you about me, my company and the Bootcamp Trainer position.
My name is Paul Golding and I own Brighton Bootcamp, a fitness company that specialises in helping our clients get into phenomenal shape in as little as 6-weeks.
I'm looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and energetic person to join our team as a Bootcamp Instructor.
My studio is located 26-28 Franklin Road, Portslade, Brighton & Hove
I currently offer a group fitness programme, which is designed to educate, motivate, and support men and women to improve their health and fitness.
All clients begin with an initial 6-week Bootcamp package, which includes nutritional guidance, 18 session Bootcamp programme and 6-weekly fitness assessments.
If you are hired for this coaching position, you'll be required to cover pre-allocated Bootcamp training sessions with the occasional cover for holidays.
You’ll start off teaching Bootcamp classes at £15 per hour, and you will be paid as a self-employed contractor. You will have the opportunity for an increase in pay and hours after a 90-day trial period. My studio offers a casual, fun environment, nice training equipment, and the opportunity to learn the inner-workings of a successful Bootcamp training studio.

You will be compensated and treated fairly, and I will certainly look for ways to pay you more for your efforts if they warrant it. Provide Comprehensive Health and Fitness Programs for Clients and Classes: You will receive coaching and training on our fitness systems and programming, BUT you will have the flexibility to incorporate your training style and knowledge.
Tracking Client Progress: In order to ensure a client’s success in our program, you will need to help track their progress, current successes and challenges, review client nutrition and exercise and more on a weekly basis. It will be your job to hold a client accountable to his/her health and fitness program to ensure they achieve their goals.
Perform Fitness Consultations: Ideally, you’ll have some fitness assessment skills and can test for body-composition, body-weight, measurements, blood pressure and various other tests. You don’t need previous experience, but if you do that’s a bonus.
Coach Clients Through their starter program: You’ll be responsible for keeping me (Paul Golding) updated with progress reports on the clients you’re working with. To ensure consistent progress you will also be responsible for coaching and motivating clients to overcome obstacles and challenges that may arise during the program.
Demonstrate Proper Exercise Instruction: You must be able to provide coaching and instruction on all exercises and programs. A working knowledge of the human body (muscles, movements, function, etc.) is essential and you must be able to provide appropriate exercises for a client’s goals.
Provide On-going Health and Fitness Education: Our clients have put their trust in us to service all their health and fitness needs. It is your job as a fitness coach to provide our clients with health and fitness education on various topics that will empower them to live the fat-loss lifestyle and to remain healthy.
Cleanliness: The studio needs to be kept in a clean and tidy state at all times, you are expected to carry out certain cleaning duties daily.
Staff Meetings: You must attend staff meetings when requested.

Required Skills: These are the skills that you must already have to be considered for this position!
Good communication skills, you will be talking to clients who are VERY important to me. You must be comfortable conversing in-person and on the phone, plus you must know how to conduct yourself professionally and deliver clear instructions to clients.
You must have people skills and a great personality and must love working with people. This is a high energy studio and you must be able to show my clients energy and excitement while helping them to achieve their goals.
You do not need Personal Training experience, but you should have a good working knowledge of health and fitness and hold as a basic minimum Fitness Instructor Level 2 (or equivalent).
First Aid qualification. In the event of an accident then First Aid skills are required.
Bonus Skills: Not essential but very helpful (though if you do not have these skills you should still apply as we value willingness to learn as more important than qualifications)
